NIGHOJ-kund

Nighoj (Marathi: निघोज), is a village in Ahmednagar District, Maharashtra, India.Nighoj is famos for Malabai Temple and Pot Holes (KUND) in Kukadi River.Nighoj is around 80 kms away from Pune. You have to travel on the Ahmadnagar road towards Ahmadnagar, reach a town called Shirur. From there, you have to turn left (if you are coming from Pune), travel inroad for around 20 kms (The road is good enough). On reaching the village, if you ask around for Kund (potholes), the villagers will guide you to the river.

Parner (Marathi: पारनेर), is an historic city in Ahmednagar District, Maharashtra, India. 'Parner' was named after Rishi Parashar, whose son Maharishi Ved Vyas wrote famous epic "Mahabharat". Parner is at height about 600–900 meters from sea Level.
